Advent at ContemplateNews and Happenings |
November was a special month at Contemplate Lincoln. We resumed our monthly Taize service, traveled to the Parliament of Worlds Religions, and became recognized as a 1001 New Worshipping Community by PCUSA. Now we welcome the season of Advent and Christmas with great anticipation and joy. We have a special event, Carols and Cold Ones, at Gratitude Bakery where we will experience fellowship and the joy of singing our favorite Holiday Songs. Taize and Round Table Lectio will both move to winter hours. Taize will move to 6pm on 3rd Sundays and Lectio will now be at 5:30pm on Tuesdays. We look forward to worshiping, praying, celebrating, and growing in Christ with you. Join us at Gratitude Bakery December 8th 7-9pm for a Holiday Sing Along with The Rising Band. Everyone is welcome including all ages. Gratitude Bakery is Located in the Bethany Historic District (1551 N.
