A New Year’s Update
We have arrived to 2022. A new year with new intentions, opportunities, blessings, and obstacles. We have had an intense couple of years and for many of us surviving has been enough. Virtually every aspect of life has been changed or altered in this new reality. Much has changed at Contemplate Lincoln as we transitioned all events to virtual meetings, moved from an emphasis on retreats/workshops to intimate small group meetings. Holding space to gather, grow, and journey together.

Our contemplative conversation book groups, circle of trust, equinox & solstice celebrations at the prairie, holiday liturgies, and Care Packages for the Quarantined have been highlights of this year (and life giving for me!). Thank you for all who have attended and supported these activities. We depend on your presence, participation, and financial support to bring life to these events.

As the pandemic marches on in the form of new variants we must consider what Contemplate Lincoln will look like in the future. We have also grown, matured, and transformed over the course of our first 3 years. We must now ask new questions and lean into Spirit’s call for us. After such a period of pandemic-led transition I have begun to sense a spirit led emergence. What this will look like I do not know. God always surprises. Over the month of January leadership at Contemplate Lincoln will be exploring this call. While much of what we love about Contemplate Lincoln will stay the same as we look to deepen communication, gift sharing, and community. So stay tuned for some big announcements next month.

In the course of this discernment we invite active participants at Contemplate Lincoln to participate at a deeper level in our community. If you would be interested in being a part of these conversations by participating in an advisory board or sharing your gifts of leadership, writing, or teaching with our community please email me at [email protected]. And/or contribute by completing the brief survey below. Blessings, Adam
