Connect to the fall season and prairie while remembering the ordinary and extraordinary saints in our lives.
Join us for All Hallows Eve, All Saints, and All Souls Day: A yearly tradition of contemplation and remembrance through a liturgy inspired by Celtic Christian Tradition from Iona Abbey.
Now In-Person at the Prairie and Online via Zoom.
In-Person Location: Pioneers Park Nature Center Auditorium at 3201 South Coddington in Lincoln, NE.
We will end our time together in contemplative silent prayer. In-person guests are welcome to walk the trails of Pioneers Park after our meeting. Both in-person and online guests will leave with suggested practices/activities for time in nature following the event.
In the Celtic Christian Tradition Halloween, also known as All Hallows Eve, celebrates summer’s end, the transition to shorter days, and the harvest. It is also a time of honoring and remembering our ancestors and saints who came before us. A time in the Celtic tradition when the veil between this world and the spirit world is very thin. Join us for this liturgy and meditation, celebrating and honoring this transition.
This Sunday follows All Hallows Eve, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day, observed in churches and communities across the world.
Join us as we intentionally invoke the themes of this rich week.
