Description: Join us for a celebration of the solstice on the prairie. Together we will celebrate our connection to the earth and each other through readings, music, drumming, and mindfulness. This is a spiritual event hosted by Contemplate Lincoln, Ken Winston from Interfaith Power and Light, and local musician Marcia Claesson. Bring a chair or blanket, and a drum (optional) and join us for music, meditation, drumming, and a mindfulness walk through the prairie at the conclusion of the event.
No experience with mindfulness meditation or drumming are necessary. Some drums will be provided. Join in the drumming or simply sit back and soak it in while you enjoy the majestic sights of Spring Creek Prairie. The prairie will be open for an hour after scheduled programming for hiking. All ages welcome. Pets not permitted on the prairie. Learn more about the Prairie and guidelines at https://springcreek.audubon.org/. We will uphold instituted Lancaster County directed health measures at the time of the event.
